Social Cooking
Social cooking offers an entertaining and educational way to spend time with friends, colleagues or family. Toiduakadeemia team - a chef and a service attendant - is responsible for the cheerful course of the event. The event begins with an introduction by our chef, where the menu is introduced and the participants are divided into teams. Each team is given a task of preparing one course from the menu. Our chef guides and, if necessary, assists in the preparation and serving of food. And be warned! Social cooking not only offers new knowledge and great tastes, but also allows you to get to know your colleagues or spend quality time with friends in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You may have the pure joy of cooking and we will have dirty dishes!
Social Cooking in open air
Just a 15-minute drive from the centre of Tallinn, there is a wonderful place – the Estonian Open-Air Museum, well known to all of us. In this truly beautiful place, there is a cozy Püstkoda, the heart of which is a living fire that always draws people together – be it in a sunny summer evening or during a thick winter snowfall. Up to 30 people can sit coolly in the Toiduakadeemia Püstkoda, which operates all year round, and in summer, outdoor events can be arranged for up to 100 people due to an additional tent. We are ready to organize company summer days, weddings, birthdays, barbecue trainings and team events. The format of the event can be either a joint cooking or a dinner prepared by the chef. At the Püstkoda, there is an outdoor kitchen which is equipped with various grills (ceramic and gas grill, smoke oven and Ofyr grill) on which all hot dishes are prepared.
Chef & Sommelier
"Chef & Sommelier" is a brisk and witty joint cooking event, during which you will gain new knowledge of the world of both food and drinks. At the end of the evening, you will be more aware of how to choose wines for food and how to use wine when preparing food. Our Wine God Dionysus... sorry, our chef-sommelier, is a particularly bright personality who could actually do her own stand-up comedy. She will share with you exciting stories about wines specially selected for the menu. For example, did you know how bubbles get into a bottle or how it is possible that dark grapes become white wine? "Chef & Sommelier" social cooking format is perfect for celebrating birthdays and other anniversaries for adults and is suitable for both beginners and advanced wine lovers. The package includes a four-course menu and matched wines. We only expect cheerful mind from the party participants. Well, and if there is none, at least by the end of the evening a good mood is guaranteed!
Seminar/Meetings day
Need a change? Step out of your routine and hold your meeting, seminar or team building training with us. The environment of Toiduakadeemia favors the development of new ideas. You can choose between different venues, and all the presentation equipment is conveniently available on site. At the end of the seminar day, the cherry on the cake is a team food-training, during which a delicious dinner is prepared together. All our rooms have Wi-Fi and the possibility to use a video projector, a 52-inch screen and a whiteboard.
